Well after much organising by the wonderful , and , we all turned up at Roma Street Parklands for a BBQ and general get together. I was actually surprised at the amount of people who showed. I think it was around 70 or 80 people turned up, which was awesome!

I went once again in my Sakura cosplay, which was great. I gotta get me some better ninja shoes though, I've got a really bad blister from my current ones. There were some really amazing cosplays and everyone got on so well, and there was a LOT of food. I took a few photos, which I'll be uploading shortly. I'm usually very snap happy with my camera, but I just didn't really feel like taking pictures, so there won't be many. That and I've yet to install my camera software on my laptop.

We had fun going into Queen St from the Parklands. Definately attracted a few stares, and our stunt in Hungry Jacks (Burger King) got a few laughs. We basically toured around to all the comic book stores, Borders and Replay before really dispersing and doing our own thing. I got a sore voice from yelling at everyone, cos I'm not really that loud. I ended up walked with Kat back to the Parklands a little early, mainly cos she didn't know her way there, so that she could get home. I walked all the way back too. For about 10 minutes, I thought that I wouldn't find anyone... and while it's fun being in cosplay, it's a bit awkard when your by yourself as opposed to being in a group. SAFETY IN NUMBERS! XD

Afterwards, everyone decided to do Karaoke. I've never done it before (Singstar doesn't count), so it was rather interesting. I think we crammed 20 or so people into that soundproof room. It was great, cos everyone was singing together. I ended up singing Numb by Linkin Park. I nearly tripped and fell on people and half sat on Yuffie in my attempts to cross the room to the mic. I'm sorry! I'm such a klutz. That and a terrible singer... *is tonedeaf* I had to leave at 6 cos I had a friend over for dinner, but when I got home I crashed anyways, and was out like a log for 11 hours. Who knew Cosplay was so exhausting?

All in all, a fun day! Looking forward to doing it all again in September.
