I've pretty much been absent for well over a year. Life's been busy, and I've not had much time to indulge my artsy side. Posts here will be sporadic to non-existant from now on. Been a lot busier at work lately as Triathlon season has just started up, and I'm helping out a lot more at the events themselves. Had heaps of fun up at Rainbow Beach and out at Wivenhoe Dam those weekends. Going to be busy in the coming weeks too. I'm thinking this is a product of my life situation combined with growing older, but yes, I'm feeling a bit out of touch with the cosplay community these days. I'm finding it harder and harder to relate with everyone. While I still enjoy and love cosplaying, I'm missing that one key component that made the experience complete to me - people. And when I say people, I mean interacting with people - sharing the joys of fandom and mutual love for some of the stuff we're into. Being stupid, hanging out, meeting others. I feel as if there's this invisible force field that's stopping me from approaching others now - like I'm not good enough, or too
